The world's largest trade fair for bicycles and ecomobility, Eurobike, is coming to Istanbul starting in 2026!
The highly anticipated launch has been announced for the Eurobike Istanbul fair, where organizations providing production and assembly services for bicycles, e-bikes, clothing, and accessories in Türkiye and the surrounding regions will meet with industry professionals and consumers. Supported by the Bicycle Industry Association of Türkiye (BİSED) and the World Bicycle Industry Association (WBIA), Eurobike Istanbul will be organized by fairnamic GmbH and Messe Frankfurt Istanbul from April 22-25, 2026, at the Istanbul Expo Center.
Following Frankfurt and Jakarta, Eurobike Istanbul will offer a new trade platform for the market encompassing Türkiye and neighboring countries. It will create a unique space for exchanging ideas on ecomobility solutions and new business models, discovering new perspectives, and establishing strong partnerships.

Türkiye is among Europe's largest markets in bicycle sales and production
As of 2024, a total of 1.2 million bicycles and electric bicycles were sold in Türkiye. This volume positions Turkey as the 6th largest market in Europe. In the same year, bicycle and e-bike production in Turkey was recorded at 1.38 million units, thus ranking 4th in Europe in terms of production volume, after Germany, Italy, and Portugal.
Türkiye holds an attractive position for investors due to its low production costs, extensive supplier industry capacity, and EU Customs Union membership, which provides duty-free access. The increasing domestic demand is contributing to the development of new segments, primarily e-bikes and cargo bikes.
Simultaneously, Türkiye's large youth population and growing urban transportation needs are increasing interest in sustainable transport solutions. Particularly, electric bicycles and light micro-mobility solutions are becoming more widespread, also supported by public policies. Incentive and standard regulations expected to come into effect in the coming years will further accelerate market growth.
