The Filtration Sector, the New Locomotive of the Sustainable Production Line, Prepares to Gather in Istanbul on 28-30 August

The filtration sector, emerging as the new locomotive of the sustainable production line with its innovative and eco-friendly solutions, is set to convene in Türkiye. The Istanbul Filtration Industry, Technologies, and Sub-Industry Fair (IFTEX 2025) will take place at the Istanbul Expo Center from 28-30 August 2025 and is preparing to host sector professionals from over 15 countries, primarily from Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and Asia.

Held under the theme "Clean Solutions for a Sustainable Life," participants at the fair will exhibit solutions that reduce carbon footprint, products developed with recyclable materials, and technologies that ensure energy efficiency. The event will also showcase Türkiye's engineering prowess and production capacity in the filtration sector.

“It Will Showcase Türkiye's Engineering Strength and Production Capacity”

Regarding the fair they are organizing, Barış Salur, General Manager of the international event and exhibition company B2B Fairs, stated: “IFTEX 2025, whose organization we are undertaking, is the first global-scale fair for the filtration sector to be held in Istanbul, a meeting point for the world. IFTEX will demonstrate the engineering strength and production capacity that Türkiye possesses in the filtration sector with its next-generation filter solutions. It will be a significant platform for carrying the sector's innovation potential to the international market.”

Focus on High-Performance Systems Across Industries

IFTEX 2025, which will be held for the first time with the theme "Clean Solutions for a Sustainable Life," will focus on high-performance filtration systems used in various industrial areas, including automotive, healthcare, food & beverage, energy, petrochemicals, and building technologies. Participants will be introduced to new material technologies, smart sensor-supported systems, and production processes with a low carbon footprint.

The Fair Will Provide Momentum for Commercial Collaborations and Technology Transfer

Expanding on the details of the fair, Barış Salur, General Manager of B2B Fairs, stated: “With IFTEX 2025, which we set out to be a global fair and are organizing, we aim to make Türkiye more visible and effective in the global filtration supply chain. While we expect intense participation especially from Germany, Italy, China, India, and Africa, our target market is both to strengthen Türkiye's position in developed economies and to create new business opportunities in developing regions.”

“IFTEX 2025 will provide great momentum to the sector in terms of knowledge sharing, commercial collaborations, and the transfer of new technologies. It will allow Turkish manufacturers to increase their exports, raise their brand awareness, and strengthen their competitiveness by meeting with global players. Furthermore, we aim to create awareness for the elevation of industry standards and the adoption of more sustainable production approaches.”

The Key Message Will Be "Sustainability and Eco-Friendly Production"

Noting that they aim for this fair to become a regularly growing platform that establishes Istanbul as a regional center in the filtration sector, Barış Salur concluded his words: “We are working to both strengthen Türkiye's role in the global supply chain and to become a reference event where sector-leading innovations are discussed. Throughout the fair, sustainability and eco-friendly production will be one of our most important messages. Participating companies will exhibit their solutions that reduce carbon footprint, products developed with recyclable materials, and technologies that ensure energy efficiency at their own stands. Thus, by experiencing these innovative and environmentally friendly practices prepared by the companies, visitors will better grasp that filtration is not merely an industrial need but also an environmental responsibility.”
