Organized by the So Fair Group as the year's first construction industry export fair, CF Istanbul has opened its doors. Held at the Istanbul Expo Center from February 12 to 15, the fair has attracted significant interest, with 10,000 professional visitors, including 3,000 international attendees. CF Istanbul, which aims to boost the sector's exports, will remain open for four days.
The construction and building sector, one of the most important pillars of the Turkish economy, is coming together at the Construction Industry Export Fair - CF Istanbul, the first export fair of 2025. The fair, which showcases a wide range of products and services related to the construction and building industry, is being held at the Istanbul Expo Center.
In addition to domestic market professionals, the fair is attracting professional buyers from nearly 40 countries, including the Middle East, Eastern Europe, Africa, and the Commonwealth of Independent States. Countries such as Nigeria, Tunisia, Algeria, Albania, Serbia, Russia, Ukraine, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt are well-represented. With 3,000 international visitors expected, the fair, which is closed to the public, aims to exceed 10,000 professional visitors in total.
Turkey Among the Top Five Exporters
At the fair, B2B business meetings are being held to enhance the global trade of the Turkish construction industry, which ranks among the world's top five exporters of construction materials and technologies. These meetings not only create new export channels for participating companies but also increase the global brand recognition of Turkish firms.
In addition to construction materials and technologies, the fair features specialized halls for HVAC, bathroom and kitchen fixtures, plumbing, construction electronics, and smart building systems. Foreign Chambers of Commerce Arrive with Buying Delegations
From the very first day of CF Istanbul, chambers of commerce and buying delegations from numerous countries began conducting bilateral business meetings with participants. Countries such as Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Kosovo, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Albania, Moldova, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Lebanon are represented by trade and architectural chamber officials and buying groups. These meetings are expected to open new export channels for fair participants.
