The International Composites Fair TURKCOMPOSITE 2026 will be held at Istanbul Expo Center on October 21-23, 2026, with the support of the Presidential Investment and Finance Office. The fair, renewed with the organization of CNG Expo, aims to carry the Turkish composites industry to the global showcase, increase international collaborations, and make Türkiye a regional composites center.
The International Composites Fair TURKCOMPOSITE 2026, Türkiye's most comprehensive organization in the field of composite materials and technologies, is preparing to open its doors to the industry and the world with a much stronger organizational structure. The fair, to be held with the support of the Presidential Investment and Finance Office, will take place on October 21-23, 2026, at Istanbul Expo Center in Halls 9 and 10 and the foyer area, across a 15,000 m² space. As part of TURKCOMPOSITE 2026, more than 500 brands—30 percent of which will be foreign exhibitors—are expected to come together with more than 4,000 international visitors, 30 percent of whom will be foreign visitors. The event, to be implemented under the slogan "Meet4Composite," will offer participants a comprehensive platform across many areas such as raw materials, semi-finished products, final products, laboratory systems, and production technologies.
New Organization, New Vision
Organized with the support of the Composites Manufacturers Association and with the participation of leading institutions such as Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ), Roketsan, Havelsan, and Baykar Teknoloji, the fair is being organized by CNG Expo, which has more than 20 years of industry experience, unlike previous years. With this collaboration, the organizational structure of the fair is being completely renewed. Thanks to this change, both the visitor experience and international promotion strategies will be greatly strengthened, aiming to increase the international recognition and prestige of the Turkish composites industry.
Stating that the Composites Manufacturers Association and Turkish companies successfully take part in the world's leading fairs such as JEC World in France and CAMX in the USA every year, CNG Expo Chairman of the Board Cengiz Yaman said that the goal now is to carry this global impact to Türkiye with the TURKCOMPOSITE Fair and to make the country a regional center in the field of composites. Noting that TURKCOMPOSITE 2026 is not only a product exhibition platform but also a meeting point for knowledge sharing, technology transfer, and international collaboration opportunities, Yaman said, "With its renewed organizational structure, the fair is positioned this year as a strong step toward carrying the Turkish composites industry to the global showcase."
The Turkish Composites Industry Is Growing Stronger
The Turkish composites industry has demonstrated strong growth in recent years in many strategic areas, particularly construction, automotive, aviation, and the defense industry. As of 2024, the market size exceeding $2 billion is expected to reach $7 billion within the next five years. Producing to international standards, the industry is increasing its competitiveness in European, North American, and Asian markets thanks to its high engineering and design capabilities.
In addition to traditional composite products, the industry is turning toward advanced technology products such as carbon fiber-reinforced polymers (CFRP), aramid fibers, and nanocomposites, standing out with their lightness, durability, and high-performance characteristics. Exports of composite products exceeded $2 billion in 2024, reaching a significant share in Türkiye's high-tech exports. The Turkish composites industry aims to further strengthen its presence in North America, Western Europe, India, Southeast Asia, and the MENA region with increasing technology investments.
