The Heart of Furniture Will Beat in Istanbul

Countdown Begins for the International Istanbul Furniture Fair

The International Istanbul Furniture Fair (IIFF), organized with the support of the Furniture Associations Federation (MOSFED) and in collaboration with MOS Fuarcılık and Tüyap Fuarcılık, is set to bring the global furniture industry to Turkey with its expansive 250,000-square-meter exhibition area.

Scheduled to take place from January 21-25, 2025, preparations for the event are in full swing. MOSFED President Ahmet Güleç shared insights about the upcoming fair:

“Our fair, held every January, has become one of the world’s premier events. In January 2024, nearly 1,000 companies and over 3,000 brands participated, attracting 144,000 professionals from 152 countries to Istanbul. We believe the numbers will surpass these figures in 2025,” Güleç said.

IIFF: A Global Hub for the Furniture Industry

Recognized as one of the most prestigious gatherings in the global furniture industry, IIFF continues to grow. Organized by MOSFED, in partnership with MOS Fuarcılık A.Ş. and Tüyap Tüm Fuarcılık Yapım A.Ş., the event will once again open its doors from January 21-25, 2025.

Attracting close to 150,000 buyers annually, the fair features over 1,000 companies and 3,000 brands showcasing products across 250,000 square meters. It serves as a crucial platform for buyers and manufacturers to connect, collaborate, and make purchasing decisions.

Countdown to IIFF 2025

Commenting on the preparations, MOSFED President Ahmet Güleç emphasized the event’s significance:

“Turkey is one of the four countries globally capable of producing across all product categories and ranks as the seventh-largest exporter. We achieved this by following robust strategies in production, design, branding, and marketing. Alongside strengthening our manufacturing capabilities, we have added to our reputation by organizing one of the most closely followed furniture fairs in the world. Istanbul has become a key destination for international furniture exhibitions, with global producers now choosing our fair to showcase their products. In 2025, 1,000 companies and over 3,000 brands, predominantly from Turkey, will participate in IIFF once again.”

A Fair Representing 152 Countries

Reflecting on the success of the January 2024 edition, which hosted over 144,000 industry professionals from 152 countries, Güleç stated:

“Visitors left the event satisfied after exploring the latest trends and designs, building strong networks, and forming partnerships. For 2025, we anticipate even greater participation. To achieve this, we are conducting extensive promotional and marketing campaigns. We hope to reach our goals, benefiting both our sector and our country.”

He also highlighted efforts to increase trade volume by collaborating with the Ministry to bring international procurement delegations to Turkey:

“The growing brand strength of our fair and its global appeal are immensely gratifying,” he added.
